As an educational consultant, I offer the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and their families. By helping students navigate the educational journey, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential, I contribute to shaping their future and opening doors of options and opportunities.

My expertise lies in providing fostering and exploring skills that foster self-advocacy and independent skills through targeted effective student-centered differentiating of instruction.  Professionally, my experience spans decades as an educator, teacher mentor/coach, advocate for inclusive appropriate learning environments /placements, equity/ diversity related services, classroom culture specialist, accommodated instruction specialist and educational diagnostician.

My specialty includes individualized support to students with learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, or other special needs. I collaborate with families, schools, and professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure that appropriate accommodations and services are provided.

My educational background includes a BA in Education, MA in Curriculum and Instruction, MA in Special Education, and a PhD. in Advanced Human Behavior. I hold several teaching certifications.

Willie S. Anderson, M.Ed., is an educator, visionary, writer, speaker, sojourner, and community advocate. Blessed to live her passion through service, Anderson firmly believes that we must use our God-given talents to uplift our community. For the past 29 years, Willie Sue has been a faithful volunteer “making waves” at Austin Community Radio, KAZI 88.7 FM. She is “The Voice” of numerous KAZI underwriting announcements. While at KAZI, Anderson has produced and hosted “Educating Our Children” and “The KAZI Review.” She’s also occasionally hosted “The Quiet Storm” and been a guest on other KAZI programs.

Willie completed her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, eLearning/Technology Education via Concordia University, Portland, Oregon. An honor graduate of Freed–Hardeman University, Anderson holds a B.A. in Broadcast Communications and certification in Special Education and Elementary Education. A Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) Fellow, Anderson completed broadcast journalism studies at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. As an educator, Anderson’s classroom and administrative experience has primarily been in the charter school sector. Currently, Ms. Anderson is an adjunct professor at Austin Community College where she facilitates Adult Basic Education (ABE) High School Equivalency (HSE), English as a Second Language (ESL), and Career Pathway courses.
